Derby CAN funds Rap Night Vol 2, celebrating Derby’s finest and underground rap artists, held at Bramblebrook Community centre on 26th May 2023. With the notorious DJ Figa on the decks and globally established artist – Eyez – as special guest, this night was one to remember.
This collaborative event saw artists, sourced by Hear Me Now, well known guests and entertainment, provided by 360 Booth Pro UK, flood this hidden venue on Stockbrook Park: Bramble Brook Community Centre.
Kickstarting the night was the young, up and coming DJ Karicho acting as a support act for DJ Figa, a well recognised figure in Derby with her role as DJ on BBC Radio Derby and Kemet FM as well as the live music scene.
Hosted by rapper Loue Marc, a Stockbrook local, the night saw performances from emerging artists like Linkz and Gio to established artists like Eyez share one stage with the message of support for Derby’s creative network.
We were honoured to have played a part in this event and are looking forward to more events of this scale and beyond!
